Groups & Cohorts FAQs

With the launch of Community Groups and Gospel Cohorts, we've had some questions arise about the two, as well as regarding the Meet and Greet on Sunday. We hope these answers will help clarify some things for you.

What if I can’t come Sunday? No big deal! We understood there would likely be some that could not attend. If you expressed an interest in a Gospel Cohort, there will be someone reaching out to connect you in the coming days. If you would like to join a Community Group simply find a group in the area of town you live and show up. Please refer to the map to find the closest Community Group to the area of town you live.

What’s the difference between the two? Community Groups and Gospel Cohorts exist for the purpose of saturating our city with people doing life together for the sake of mission. There are several things that make Community Groups and Gospel Cohorts distinctively different, mainly: flexibility of schedule and intimacy. Community Groups meet the same night, time, and place every week. While a Gospel Cohort has more flexibility with time and place. The second distinction is Community Groups are made of a large number of people with a gender mix, while Gospel Cohorts are gender based and made up of 3-4 people.
