This week, we will look at the ramifications of the persecution of the church following Stephen’s death from Acts 8:4-8. The church was scattered and the Gospel began to move outside the city of Jerusalem, where we will see the Gospel’s arrival in Samaria through the witness of Philip. As you prepare for Sunday, consider where God has scattered you.
Read: We will be reading from Acts 8:4-8, so make some time to read it as well as re-read Acts 1:8.
Communion: The first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion, where we reflect on the good news of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Sunday our church will celebrate Jesus’ broken body and the blood He poured out to pay the sin debt.
