Our hope is that every woman of The District Church would learn what it means to truly abide in Christ, flourish in her union with Him, and build lasting friendships with other women that encourage dependency on Jesus. Abide women’s ministry seeks to see this vision come to life through worship & biblical teaching, discipleship classes, and fun.

We value literacy of the Bible and believe that participation in the Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:1) and theological depth is attainable for every woman within the church in order to strengthen the body (Ephesians 4:12). Flourish is a pathway for participants to join in-depth Bible studies and develop a discipleship framework around the Bible and theology through classes & courses, in order to better implement their gifts within The District Church.

Community is a vital part of the Christian life. We see it modeled through the way Jesus lived in relationship with his disciples. Abide Friendship Nights are intended for our women to gather for Fun and Fellowship, with the goal of creating and fostering authentic friendships that encourage dependency on Jesus.

It is an event to connect to women from TDC and to foster authentic friendship.
Women will gather in groups of 8 in homes or restaurants to share a meal and rich conversation all over the city. You choose which location to go attend!
If it feels a little daunting to have dinner with women you haven't met, invite a friend or two to register for the same location and go together! You will receive an email from your host the week of the event with all the details (address of home or restaurant, the menu, what to bring, etc.).
We want you to join us! Make new friends and feel connected to your church family!
*Additionally, we would love for you to bring a favorite recipe to share and be featured in our church recipe book! Please include your full name on the recipe and leave it with your table host.
