PASTOR JOSHUA WICKER
Joshua & Holly live in Jacksonville with their son and daughter, Branch and Callum. Joshua and Holly have been married for 10 years.
They began attending and serving at The District Church shortly after its first public gathering. Joshua was ordained through The District Church and dedicated nearly 8 years to serving as the Creative & Worship Pastor alongside The District’s founding pastor, Boyd Bettis. In January 2024, Joshua was called and confirmed as the lead pastor of The District Church. Pastor Joshua and Holly have faithfully served the District Church for over 10 years, carrying a deep passion to see God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
During their free time, they enjoy harvesting pecans and tending to their small family farm together.
ELDERS
The District Church is ruled and under the authority of our Senior Pastor, Jesus, as the church belongs to Him. Jesus has entrusted the oversight, leadership, protection, and caring for the people to men who are qualified according to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 to serve as elders. Our elders oversee the staff, who execute the ministry strategy and we are congregationally accountable.
Our elders team has appointed the pastoral staff and ministry support staff to execute the day to day ministry and entrust them to equip the saints for the work of ministry. To contact our elders with any questions about our church, please feel welcomed to reach out through e-mail.
